The main body of terrorists group was eliminated during the operation in Sydney, Popov's second self was assassinated. Their plans were destroyed, and and the rest of eco-terrorists had to retreat to their refuge deep in the Brazilian rain forest, hoping to negotiate a deal to return to the United States. Clark, knowing that they may never be put on trial, tracked down the Brazilian hideout and deploys Rainbow to the location. With some proprietary designs of Rainbow's Israeli colleagues , they had succeeded to ping the route of Popov, who hadn't noticed the navigational bug on the transport. The area of further attack was hidden in the dense foliage of the fertile forest, with hiding terrorists. There were two camouflaged hangars, a control point and an underground shelter for the criminal tactical tasks and discussions of Popov's watch-dogs. Eddie Price with Louis Loiselle and Geoff Bates with Fred Franklin ( under the offence patronage of Bing and Clark ) were forced to assault this hideout. The Team (1 and 2) destroyed
successfully
enemy combat units , with full weapon controll of the situation and leading cross-fire. C4 bomb was defused and the remaining unarmed criminals were captured. After Rainbow had defeated the eco-terrorists' militia force and destroyed their facility and supplies, Clark had the survivors stripped naked and left to die, taunting them to "reconnect with nature." For his critical assistance, Popov hadn't charged for his role in the attacks. The Horizon Corporation continued as a legitimate pharmaceutical corporation, without their CEO and the other employees involved in the never-revealed plot. The threat of mass destruction of humanity by weapons of chemical hazard had been eliminated, but the fight against terrorism wasn't over. Rainbow Agency became the turning point for future development of anti-terrorism structures, giving US and not only governments and secret agencies its pejorative force and an ability to complete every mission , practically without any losses.

Individual Reading . Tom Clancy : Rainbow Six. p. 817- 1113
Stanley, Clark , Covington , Chavez , Bellow and Bill Tawney were quite dismayed by these events and couldn't understand why some of these old authorities , as Carlos the Jackal ( criminal kings, master terrorists
) - were trying to enter the battle again, being identified by main law enforcement agencies, intelligences and assault brigades. Trying to find some information about last events, Rainbow was forced to give it's fighther some days to relax and to come to the tonus and to deal with some search activity (the study of archives, scanning of old secret documents, the use of prohibited by the state LANs and other surfing work). Unknown to the Rainbow, radical eco-terrorists from a biotechnology firm the Horizon Corporation have orchestrated the previous attacks, having hired ex-KGB officer Dimitriy Popov ( which was already introduced to us ) to foment the incidents. The increase in terror attacks helped their security firm land a contract during the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. From within the Olympic security apparatus, they planned to launch a sophisticated bioweapon attack intended to wipe out the majority of the human race ( the virus, based on the decreasing of level of intelligence and vital motivation was suppressed by all other reflexes and immune-alert systems of the man.) For terrorists, the success of this experience could only mean one thing - the ability to wage war by chemical attacks with a quite high possibility chance. Upon learning about Rainbow, Popov hired some members of the PIRA to take over a local hospital in Hereford near Rainbow's base, take Clark and Chavez's wives hostage, and ambush one of Rainbow's squads. But fortunately, Rainbow and the SAS support, that was used by Stanley connections retook the hospital, capturing some of the terrorists. Interrogation revealed Popov's involvement in instigating the attack. The Rainbow focused on main enemy of their agencie and the whole world , and the target of manhunt was the Dmitriy Popov , that was at Horizon's secret base in Kansas hiding from SAS . Popov contacted Clark and told him about his plan to capture Sydney Stadion in order to start his eco-terrorist act from that place and to lead the whole humanity to the edge of life and death. But rapid actions of Miguel Chin and Julio Vega with their master Ding Chavez, who were there as a security consultants with all neccessary technical equipment, weapons, communication devices, and the basis of combat team. The actions of terrorists without clear guidance of their master were at the low level of fighting and mental capability and were successfully eliminated by the squad.
Individual Reading . Tom Clancy : Rainbow Six. p. 523 - 817 .
After a certain stage in the development of military and tactical operative patterns both of teams, led by John Clark, the Technical Department of the Rainbow agencie was forced to order a modern tracking system of external radio signals, which have a chance to be as a supportive hand, and the basis of any possible mission on rescuing hostages. The relationship in both Rainbow divisions was really high voltaged. This was due to the passive ,inaction of one of the groups (and we should say, that both of teams were perfectly prepared for any operation, connected with active or stealth military actions), but the last ( but not the least )chance was given to Chavez group. The following strength test of a newfound secret agency, was connected with their third mission .The object of capture was an amusement park in Spain, Madrid. A group of terrorists besieged сompletely one of the most popular attractions in the park without any specific requirements ( which were about 35 children, at the moment of rapid capture ).Doctor Paul Bellow and Bill Tawney , who was ex- MI6 special agent had a mission to establish a mental connetions of those terrorists, to accomplish this mission without and losses, and maybe to arrest several criminals. After a short term negotiations, it has became clear that the main demand was the release of terrorist Carlos the Jackal - Ilich Ramírez Sánchez ( a Venezuelan citizen currently serving a life sentence in France for the 1975 murder of two French counter-intelligence agents and an informant for the French government.) While in prison he was further convicted of attacks in France that killed 11 and injured 150 people and sentenced to an additional life term. A committed Marxist-Leninist, Ramírez Sánchez is widely regarded as one of the most famous political terrorists of his era. He was one of the most dangerous criminals in world and his release could cause a very serious damage to the global terrorist security ( and especially, Europe and North America.) This operation was one of the the most difficult for the Rainbow group, and that's why Clark and Alistair Stanley decided to use both Teams 1 and 2. The chance of moratal risk of civilian casualties was at an extremely high level. Moreover, absolutely all of these hostages were children, which complicated the process of preparation for Rainbow's mission. (Children have a clear,
young
minds , but also can make some ill-considered actions, and accoding to Bellow's degree of rage analysis, the terrorists were coolly confident in their success. The plan was to use squads' stealth skills in order to besiege the area of capture. The terrorists were located the best way for Rainbow. Some of them were at the entrance to the park, the other part was near the attraction with children and the remaining group of criminals patroled the area. The tactic was a sharp and sudden. The two groups quickly rushed to the park, using pistols with silencers removed patrol base and showered enemy with smoke bombs (the risk was high) .During the stand-off, Rainbow was unable to prevent the terrorists' execution of a terminally ill Dutch girl. The squads manage to eliminate the terrorists without further loss of innocent life.

W. Somerset Maugham - "In a Strange Land" .
Author: Maugham, William Somerset , 1874–1965, English writer, b. Paris. He was noted as an expert storyteller and a master of fiction technique. An introverted child afflicted with a stammer, Maugham was orphaned at 10 and sent to live with his uncle, a vicar. Although he later studied medicine and completed his internship, he never practiced, having decided at an early age to devote himself to literature. He lived in grand style, spending much of his life on the French Riviera and traveling widely, particularly to East Asia and the South Pacific. Maugham wrote with wit and irony, frequently expressing an aloofly cynical attitude toward life. Famous as a dramatist before he became known for his novels and short stories, he achieved his first success with the sardonically humorous play Lady Frederick (1907). This was followed by a series of commercial successes, the best being The Circle (1921), Our Betters (1923), and The Constant Wife(1927).
Title : If we speak about direct title of this story, it means something unknown, enclosed space for a person , a new territory without it current exploration, and if we speak about the indirect meaning of it, it means a splitting by our nature , the eternity of wanderings ( the Islands are static, just a surreal event of a planetary scale can rejoin them to mix into one substance - just as the uniqueness of characters' birthplaces).
Themes: The first theme it's a different polarities of people from one country - even we are from one state, our blood rages with different colors, and the history of this novel is largely related to the insurmountable odds of people . And the second theme is connected with the issue of spiritual unity of all humankind. We are all brothers and sisters, no matter what many other people say, andt we have only to understand and accept "the human thought" (globally ) with our mental way of living through the gloom of the world - in fact, we are not so different and we want to love and be loved, to live happily, to have good health.

Summary:This story tells us about a man-traveler, whose lead aim isn't the wish to see the cultural saturation of these countries, but the desire to explore the human factor, ( simply - to find new and interesting people. )And during the development of the story, he visited Anadolu, where he found an amazing woman- Signora Niccolini, an English woman. Her story is very sensitive one - she was in the family of rich English man, as a house-keeper, and found her love there , a man , that also worked in that mension. Their love was rapid, they decided to earn some money in order to travel to Turkey and to buy a small hotel there. And so the did it, but after several years her husband had died and she had to stay there within his help and with HIS children, adopted with all her support ( and another special feature of this woman, that the feeling of home country as the country of Turkey wasn't inside her heart, she was an English-woman with really strong roots ).
Main Idea: The main idea of this story is that being born in one country, you can't feel the same love for the other country (even if you was brought up there, I suppose) because something inextricably linked between your heart and place of your appearance into the world has always beckons you up to the end of your life.
Charatcer Sketch : Signora Niccolini is an independent woman, a true fighter and devoted wife, a woman who knows the price of a material prosperity and the struggle for survival in a harsh world (working as a house-keeper helped her in a lot) She lives with her children in Turkey, the widow of the Italian man, who had accepted husband"s illegitimate children, like her own. Her life is a symbol of resistantnce of a character to the unfair events and patriotic love of the homeland, even miles away fromher home "Pinata".
My own impression: I liked this story, because it has as main aim to show us woman's gratuitous love and feeling of compassion and strength of character. The death of her husband - a serious blow for this woman, but she didn't give up his children and took the fuul control over the situation. I give my great sincere respect for such people, the patriots of the soul, to the support -unit for others.

Individual Reading . Tom Clancy : Rainbow Six. p. 241 - 523 .
After their fist Team success , the group had to be ready for another mission, which was connected with the theme of unlimited access to the resources of the U.S. economic strategies. A wealthy Austrian businessman, Erwin Ostermann, was the main target of two extremists, hired by Popov ( They were just pawns, but perfectly trained pawns, with an ability to eliminate any person, execute
calmly
the order of thier master). Such people were Hans Fürstner and Petra Dortmund. With the help of five terrorists-supporters, and Hans and Petra took and sieged the area of security entrance near the schloss of Osterman. They were armed with tommy-guns and a number of grenades - by the standards of the hostage-taking, their armament could be called "lightweight" one.
Meanwhile, the project of creating of abiovirusafor the masses of humanity to their further extermination continued. A team of scientists observed a remarkable changes in the structure of cell membranes in the body of one of the patients, the homeless. The already low level of intelligence and vital motivation was suppressed by all other reflexes and immune-alert systems of the man. The liver, kidneys and other vital organs were completely subordinate to the effect of chemical injection and could harldy give the subject to live a few more weeks. For terrorists, the success of this experience could only mean one thing - the ability to wage war by chemical attacks with a quite high possibility chance.
John Terrence Clark, Alistair Stanley and ranger Chavez got special drafts for the briefing of the mission and Team 2 was raised to the firing position to perform the task rescue of the hostages and elimination of the terrorists in Ostermann Schloss . The challenge was great, 'cause of the high level of terrorists professionalism and their violent mood (the analysis was masterfully conducted by Doctor Paul Bellow.) The building was located near the forest mass, that just surrounded it with huge green hand. The lighting was almost zero (by the request of SAS agencie , the electricity in the whole area has been turned off in order to make the possibility of creating a base for the Team 2. Dieter Weber and Homer Johnston and their control points were elevated near the side walls of the house, so in camouflage with sniper rifles, they could have a dignified fire support. George Tomlinson , Hank Patterson, Mike Pierce and Steve Lincoln were in the sssault brigade, which aim was to break out of the shelter apart from the basin and attack the enemies. Upon an additional request of John Clark and Rainbow (who watched all the action and movementon the Israeli covert analog channel technology) were equipped with powerful spotlights to create an illusion of lighting area near the house, in which the terrorists and hostages were to move in the direction of the helicopter. Chavez himself has decided to go to a hidden attack. Meanwhile, the terrorists were at the limit of thier mentally critical condition and were ready to kill the hostages. They knew nothing about the action of Rainbow squad t, and only assumed that they were being watched only by local police and the press. (Another problem was the possibility of using mobile phone by a hostage , who could get some information from outside about the impending operation to rescue the hostages. The mission had began around the midnight. Snipers eliminated static objects in the rooms and lobby, scared newbie-terrorists rushed toward the helicopter and were suppressed by fire attack team, and Petra and Hans, who were more experienced and more severe , decided to go deep into the mansion, but Chavez and Vega headshooted them with the couple of accurate shots .

The article was published on Phys.org site, on October 4, 2012 by Angela Herring and which is called "Are we justified in our fights to save endangered species?" and discusses the problem of rapidly changing ecosystem conditions, that make it unfeasible and ethically inappropriate to maintain species preservation as a primary ecosystem management goal. The author admits, that many of the current conservation efforts remain appropriate, including protecting the wilderness and establishing wildlife corridors and moreover, adds, that different efforts to preserve species endangered by climate change are a costly and ineffective protocol .Angela Herring can't ignore the fact ,that such issues of species modification and the creation of new species through genetic engineering are essential. The author points out the fact, that there is nothing intrinsically problematic with genetic modification, and an important ethical question isn't "genetically modified" ',but rather other issues like human rights and public health and in order to prove his words he used the example of two distinct genetically modified organisms with vastly different social implications.
Analysing the situation, it's neccessary to admit, that the first is a genetically modified grass created to improve golf fairway conditions that's resistant to herbicide and can quickly spread to other areas.
It wouldn't be unfair for the author not to say
, that enetically modified yeast strain created to produce artemisinic acid, a precursor to an effective antimalarial drug, helps people in low-income countries by addressing their basic health needs.
It's a noticeable fact that
, with respect to humans, many people have argued that the Homo sapiens species has special moral significance that sets it apart from other species. In conclusion, the author gives us a chance to understand his aim message, speaking, that the reason we should be more concerned about the welfare of a human being isn't because it's Homo sapiens but because of their cognitive and psychological capacities. In my opinion, the author's words have a great degree of prophecy if we speak about a future life. The rescue of drowning is the case of drowning. But in this case, this winged phrase doesn't make any sense, because the opportunity to save the natural world only in the hands of people.

Green Construction and Retrofitting Creates More Jobs
This article was published on the 2th of November, by Dell Richards, in the EPOnline.com , which tells us about green building and energy efficiency retrofits of affordable housing not only help struggling families find decent places to live, but also help create more jobs for the economy than traditional building methods . It is undeniable fact for the author, that according to an Apollo Alliance study, 21.5 new jobs are created nationally for every $1 million invested in energy efficiency programs. He also admits , that green building increases employment by shifting resources from energy spending toward design and construction, efficiency, renewable energy and recycling. What is more, Mr. Richard adds, that energy efficient retrofitting and renovations at older Mutual Housing communities such as Norwood Estates, Greenway and Twin Pines also help the economy in different ways, and gives such examples, as a very $1 invested in construction, nearly 82 cents is produced for the local economy in induced and indirect activities. The author can't deny the fact, that the role of affordable housing construction in the industry and the role it has played in keeping people employed and small businesses solvent while the rest of the housing market crashed. Furthermore, one should not forget that the author emphasizes the idea, that Mutual Housing has plans for more affordable housing communities on the drawing boards. The multifamily developer has plans to build a community for agricultural workers and other low wage families in Yolo County and is expanding its footprint to meet the need in other counties. From these arguments Dell Richards draws the conclusion, in which he give a final word that , through Mutual Housing’s focus on leadership, the nonprofit also provides training and mentoring as well as educational programs, community-building activities and services for residents and neighbors.
So , I'd like to say that of course, I fully support the idea of building such a model of ecological housing, as the main three pillars, on which the true benefit of this idea stays are efficiently using energy, water, and other resources. Moreover, it's a good way of protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity and in addition to it - reducing of waste, pollution and environmental degradation at all. So, according to those ideas I think I made a message to all in my conclusion, and that mass introduction of this idea of Eco-housing and reproduction of it in real life - the purpose of the present day, for it's not an impossible mission, but it's necessary to remember that the fragility of mortal world can be fully broken by madness of people.

The arcitle was published in NATURE.com site, , by Richard A. Lovett, on the 19th of November ,2012 and discusses the theme, which states " How birds are used to monitor pollution."
The first thing that needs to be said is , that Nesting birds that feed on insects that hatch in lake or stream-bed sediments may make good biomonitors for pollution. The author adds the explanation of these words ,because any contamination in the sediment will make its way into the birds and into their eggs and young. Lovett can't ignore the fact, that tree swallow (Tachycineta bicolor), which still showed "significant quantities" of toxic chemicals called polychlorinated biphenols in its eggs and chicks seven years after remediation efforts started at a former capacitor-manufacturing plant in Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge in southern Illinois. The author points out the fact, that advantage of using swallows for such work is that they are known to forage over fairly small distances, rarely more than 500 metres from their nests. Analysing the situation, it's neccessary to admitt, that researchers can attract them to areas of interest simply by putting out nesting boxes on poles, because nesting sites are the birds' most important environmental limit. It wouldn't be unfair for Lovett not to say, that it can even help the birds, because the presence of nesting boxes improves the birds' habitat and the loss of a few eggs and nestlings to researchers isn't likely to hurt the species. It's a noticeable fact that, that swallows are not the only birds being used for such purposes, because the usage of homing pigeons to monitor air quality is also a very efficient way of monitoring. To draw the conclusion, the author says that, he lungs and livers from the birds from Beijing contained three or four times more polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, common by-products of fossil-fuel burning, than did those from areas with better air quality.
In conclusion, I'd like to say, that this superb method of monitoring differen pollution changes in the environmental sphere is fairly effective. Birds were used for many ages in delivering of important messages , either the bad news or good one. But even now, after several centuries of technological development and the evolution of the whole world and world of communication particulart, the birds are used in the same way - they will either maintain positive or negative information for humanity.

Does Global Warming Cause Severe Weather? “Global Weirdness” Excerpt.
This article was published by Climate Central fundamental questions about climate change and answer the question of whether droughts, heat waves, and other extreme weather are due to global warming. The author points out , that reason for more heat waves is pretty obvious and if you define a heat wave as an extended stretch of days when the temperature is well above what we now think of as normal in a month when temperatures are already high then a generally warmer world will have more stretches like this. In addition to that, the author adds, that in a warmer world, more water evaporates from the oceans and other bodies of water, and also from the soil. So the land will tend to be drier—but when it does rain or snow, there’s more water vapor stored up in the atmosphere, so precipitation should be heavier. Analyzing the situation it’s necessary to admit, that it could lead in turn to a higher risk of flooding and even more - it’s difficult to prove definitively that extreme weather events have increased, unless we’re talking about averages over the entire globe, or at least over very large regions. Moreover, the reader should not forget that author clearly gives us a thought, that today, with much better monitoring, it’s a challenge for scientists to gather enough information to draw firm conclusions about long-term trends over large regions. It’s more difficult still to say anything concrete about the role of climate change in single events. It's necessary to admit the fact, that what scientists can say is that events like this should happen more often in a warmer world. If our planet continues to warm as scientists expect—and as our record of observations gets longer and more comprehensive—scientists will be able to make more definitive statements. It would be unfair for the author , not to mention , that using special statistical techniques designed to look at extreme events, scientists have done studies, published after the last major IPCC report on global climate, in, to look at changes in extreme temperature and precipitation events over large areas of the world. The article draws the conclusion that it’s still very hard to say anything definitive about the human fingerprint on specific, local types of extreme weather.
In conclusion, I'd like to say , that all of chemical and physical processes , associated with global warming will always have a huge effect on status of our planet as a whole system and organize - the world's iternal moving and global warming - is a non-breaking process of one structural patter - the Earth And here, the main aim of scientists today -not to try to prophesy some disasters, but to monitor all the current changes of a layer of our Earth and atmosphere, to observe the movement of tectonic masses and study further some of global warming - in order not to obtain unique knowledge ( but it's also really important for next generations ), but to prepare the whole humanity mentally and physically for different future major changes.

Individual Reading . Tom Clancy : Rainbow Six. p. 1- 241 .
The story begins with the flight of John Clark ( with wife Sandy and his pregnant daughter
Patsy, who is married to Domingo - our second main character ), Domingo Chavez ( John's son in law) and Alistair Stanley across the North Atlantic area. All these three men were united not only by their familiarity and flying on the plane - all these people were "employees" of U.S. Defense Ministery, John Clark, was ex-Navy SEAL, and two other characters, Alistair Stanley was the executive commander of Rainbow Six group, and Domingo "Ding" Chavez was the leader of Team 2 - one of the two constituent links of Rainbow Six agencie. Keen mind and military experience helped John to identify 4 terrorists in the plane and with help of his companions, the terrorists were successfully brought under their control, with non-fatal way of operative actions .So, the military forces had been informed and the plane made the nearest landing in England, the terrorists were put into the hands of of special organizations, and the boys went on their way further. The destination point was Hereford, England and John Clark had become the commander and in charge of starting a new European anti-terrorist group called Rainbow Six. Rainbow Six was splitted into two main parts - Team 1 and Team 2 - their main aim was to eliminate the threat of terrorism in any part of the world in somt anonymously form - only 100 people knew about its foundation , even for the CIA and the FBI the information about this department was at the edge of "top secret" mark, strictly classified. The unit consists of a highly effective and cohesive pair of operational squads, supplemented by intelligence and technological experts from the SAS .
A group of scientists, apparently working on a terrorist organization, held the secret of some biological experiments on people - the homeless people, caught at night on the streets of New York. The test is to keep of twenty test people in the building (they were washed and shaved, got new clothes and were allowed to choose any type of alcohol - these scientists facilitated the ability to monitor drunken men. Scientists main aim - the creation of the immune system virus, based on the separation of cancer cells of the colon and their fast parasitic effects.
After two difficult weeks of hadrcore training in Hereford, either Team 1 and Team 2 were ready to execute any mission - their bodies were in perfect shape, reaction to any action - lightning fast, they fired without misses, and they could struggle against bear or tiger in the melee battle - the best professionals around the world . The first inciden thad happend in a Swiss bank, where terrorists had taken absolute control. They also had citizenas hostages .Team 2 successfully took them out, with only one hostage killed, but he was killed before they had gotten there. The first mission helped them to organize themselves and fix a few holes in their planning. And after killing of these terrorists , reader could also know the main main villain of this story - unbeknownst to them, radical eco-terrorists from a biotechnology firm called the Horizon Corporation have orchestrated the previous attacks, having hired ex-KGB officer Dimitriy Popov to foment the incidents.

Terrorism won't stop education of Pakistani girls.
The article was published in SCMP, on Tuesday, 30 October, 2012, by Shahid Javed Burki and its main issue is connected with an attempt to kill 14-year-old activist Malala Yousafzai in Pakistan whose active involvement since the age of 11 in campaigning for the rights of girls in her region to be educated was well known. The author admits, that it is a well-known fact that Malala's efforts, while applauded by the West and some segments of Pakistani society, were deeply resented by the obscurantist forces that go by the name of the Taliban. Burki also adds , thatthe choice of name is ironic, for Taliban means those seeking to be educated, whereas the Taliban's principal aim is to keep Muslim societies backward so that they can be persuaded to adopt a seventh-century version of Islam. The author is convinced that several religious leaders joined the chorus of condemnation that followed the attack on Malala. A council of Sunni Muslim scholars in the eastern city of Lahore issued a fatwa, signed by 50 clerics, saying that the justifications cited by the girl's attackers were "deviant" and had no basis in Islamic law. Moreover , analysing the situation in the word it is necessary to emphasize that extremists wanted to silence the majority that was waking up to the existential threat that radical Islam poses to their country. It would be unfair for Burki, not to mention that fact that Pakistani women have made extraordinary education progress in recent years. Their share of total college enrolment has increased from 36 per cent to 57 per cent over the last couple of decades. The article draws the conclusion that Malala's survival - and possible full recovery - provides a vibrant symbol for a troubled country. She will begin to be identified with the change that is already under way.
In my opinion, an armed attack against a young child, girl - an awful sin and dread event in todays Pakistan. Firmly believe in thier own faith, and using a firearm to ruin Malala's lively bright mind, so young and innocent, in order to to plant the seeds of terror in minds of citizens - these actions of Taliban rebel warriors will be punished by the hand of God.

Three Wars on Terror
Ronald Reagan and the battle for Obama's strategic soul.
The article was published on the website of the newspaper " FP: The National Security" on September 10 2012, by John Arquilla. The author of the article writes about Barack Obama's earliest acts as president, connected with the discarding of the phrase "War on Terror"
. Author of the article clearly separates three different stages of presidential periods of the US ( Reagan, Bush W and Obama) .
It's necessary to point out, that author tells us, that Obama's counter-terrorism strategy has extended to other malefactors as well, from madmen like Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army to the Libyan state terrorist, Moammar Qaddafi.
Arquilla emphasizes the fact, that the difference in the approaches taken by our two most recent presidents really speaks to there being two different wars on terror and Bush chose to attack other nations in his attempt to create a less permissive international environment for terrorist networks, whereas Obama has decided to take the more direct approach: going straight after the networks.
Furthermore, one should not forget that author clearly gives us a thought, that Bush's strategy proved exceptionally costly and highly problematic in Iraq, and even his initial success in "going small" in Afghanistan was all too soon overtaken by a stalemate-inducing impulse to send large numbers of troops there.
Moreover, Arquilla proves the fact, that Obama's concept of operations, on the other hand, has been working well, and will never break the bank or exhaust our military.
In addition to that, the author can't deny the fact, that In the weeks and months after the October 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 242 Americans, Reagan and his team became deeply concerned about the terrorism problem and the signal success of this first war on terror came in a campaign against the Abu Nidal Organization - which was conducting terrorist hits for hire on behalf of Iraq, Libya, and Syria. Some of the network's hidden finances were detected and, instead of freezing or seizing these funds, they were covertly moved about in ways that convinced Abu Nidal that many of his operatives were embezzling.
The author tell us, that the other side of the coin is the fact, that despite this success, and for all of Reagan's enthusiasm and Shultz's support, little else came to pass and this was because many senior military leaders worried about the ethics of Reagan's war on terror -- specifically that the use of paramilitaries and special operators would lead to what then-Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger called an "unfocused revenge approach" that would lead to the deaths of innocents.
Besides, the Pentagon preferred more conventional uses of force -- like the massive air raid on Libya in 1986 in retaliation for the bombing of a Berlin discotheque frequented by GIs.
It's necessary to admit the fact, that Obama did allow senior military advisers to talk him into surging large numbers of conventional forces into Afghanistan -- at great cost and, at best, with mixed results. He also acceded to a status-of-forces agreement made by his predecessor, allowing senior political advisers to talk him into living with the consequences of a complete withdrawal from Iraq.
The authors draws a conclusion that, saying that in the battle for Reagan's Strategic soul, the conventional thinkers won out because they convinced hive that there was for too much of the "dark side" in the Shultz-inspired plan. In the battle for Barack Obama's strategiс soul, the "overwhelming force" approach hasn't yet carried the day - and with luck it won't.
I should say, that my personal opinion is, that the US country isn't the most powerful tool in the combat fight against terrorism. The U.S. believes that only their An Eagle of Justice may destroy this disaster of the 21st century. But it is not truth - the world of terror has a great number of branches in the war history at all, but nowadays most of this terrorism is at the junction of politics and religion and has its own unique features, as well as the dangerous virus has the same cellular structure of itself. And this cure the whole world anti-terrorist community should find together.

Al Qaeda planned to hijack cruise ships and execute passengers, reveals 'treasure trove of intelligence' embedded in XXX video.
This article was published by Eli Lake in The Daily Telegraph , on May 02, 2012 and discusses the situation about war conflicts with al Qaeda and it secret mission , consisting of hijacking cruise ships and posing footage of passengers being executed online to pressurize governments. Analyzing the situation it’s necessary to admit, that this audacious plan is just one of several plots discovered by investigators who decrypted the hardware found in the underpants of a suspected terrorist arrested in Berlin last year. The author says, that one should, however, not forget that it reveals the organization is using a 'twin-track strategy' - using 'low-cost, low-tech attacks' to keep security services preoccupied as other 'operatives' plan large-scale 9/11 type atrocities. Eli Lake points out that the 46 page document outlines how and why the liquid explosive plot took shape and explains how counter-surveillance measures by the 21/7 bombers threw security officers off their scent. In addition to that, they reveal the impact that military drone strikes and infiltration by intelligence agencies are having on al Qaeda's numbers and behavior. To draw the conclusion, Eil Lake points out, that It took German investigators several weeks to decrypt the file, but when they did they found an inside track on some of the terror group's most audacious plots and a road map for future operations. So, in my opinion , it's a very convenient and clever way of transmitting hidden information. Billions of tapes and discs with adult video are circulating around the world and the best way to hide something extremely banned and seriously top secret in the sin of humanity.

The article, published on the website of "The Telegraph" on the 1st of October is headlined as "The Forgotten War!" It discusses the theme of the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan.
It is undeniable fact for the author, that wars are a human disaster. And wars are intellectually old fashion and a globally discredited means for welfare.
The other side of the coin for Obama, according to the article , is that fact, that the American forces have just chalked up the grim statistic of its 2,000th fatality since America first deployed personnel to Afghanistan in the aftermath of September 11.
At the body of the article, the author mentions about a new plan of the USA about its war tragedy in Afghanistan. As President Obama decided to send 30,000 troops to Afghanistan in the next six months and then begin pulling them out a year after.
Moreover, the author pays much attention to the fact that Obama has lost sight of sense as he doesn’t want to consider any other opinions that are different from his own, because of the widespread unpopularity of the Afghan conflict among the American people that neither candidate wants to get drawn on an issue which is unlikely to win them many votes.
From these facts, Con Coughlin may only conclude that the presidential candidates might not have any interest in what is going on in Afghanistan, but there are plenty of others who do, such as the Taliban, which is busily positioning itself to make a dramatic comeback once Nato's combat forces are withdrawn in two years time.
In my opinion, this conflict has already becaome a historically constructed. These modern public lively debates only support this idea. U.S. democratic way of country developing and international relationship only creates a veil of the hidden relations between the two countries, in order to avoid aggression in the world.

Rendering: Week 4
To begin with, the author tells us ,that the US administration falls into the former camp, blaming the past week of anti-American rioting and the murder of US officials on a dreadful YouTube film assailing the Prophet Mohammed.
The main thing that needs to be said is, that some of the rioters are citing Innocence of Muslims as a pretext for their destructive behaviour but, refreshingly, others are more honest about their motives: Movie or no movie, you can’t beat a good rampage against the Great Satan.
The author can't ignore the fact that the rioters were provoked to violence by a crappy low-budget movie no one’s seen, as if the Muslim Brotherhood were a more militant version of the New York Film Critics Circle. Liberals used to mock conservatives for worrying that violent and sexually explicit movies could have an impact on audiences.
The most common argument against this film, accroding to the Islamic people - the film offers a Mohammed who is a homosexual and a pederast. While Mohammed did take the nine-year-old Aisha as his bride, a common, if repugnant, practice in Bedouin societies of the time, the charge of homosexuality is a new one on me. According to some experts, Mr Nakoula may be the first person to attempt a queer reading of the Qur’an.
The author admitts, that one of the most striking features of this problem is that film and specially its film director Mr Nakoula - has no obligation to “respect” the Prophet of a religion to which he doesn’t subscribe, but his movie is trash, and not because it is anti-Islamic but because it is foul lumpen horse manure. Stephen Daisley make it clear that Monty Python’s Life of Brian (Terry Jones, 1979) is easily as anti-Christian but it is a product of great writing, fine acting, and laser-sharp satire.
In the addition to that, the author emphasizes his opinion, as Americans should guard their First Amendment and citizens of the other democracies their more modest speech rights.
The article concludes that people should understand , that there is a fight. That a battle unacknowledged is a battle all the same. That appeasement and isolationism do not prevent wars but rather ensure those wars will be one-sided events.
In my opinion, this film is a pretty skillful trick to the audience. The main aim of this "work" of Nacoula is to raise a huge rebellion all over the world. Nowadays, a serious offense against religion may cause a serious aftermath. "Don't play with God" - true Muslims felt reallt offended with all faith in their hearts because of only one scheming person who has played with the most important issue in today's world, knowing well that the burning hearts of the followers of the Qur'an are very dangerous. That is what America is about. That’s what America has always been about.

Pleasure Reading ( Theodore Dreiser - The Financier ) p. 410 - 612 ( final part ).
Mr. Stedger, Frank's lawer was involved in a game of financiers, trying to use all his significant mastery to protect Mr. Cowperwood from the unity of great attackers. So, newly made prosecutor of Philadelphia ( Mr. Shannen ) and also a new head judge had been bribed by Butler, and so the chance to win this deal was really poor. The Cowperwood family was at the edge of depression and prostration, Henry Cowperwood transformed from a huge and important man in the Third Street to the strange and slim figure, curse by the shame of his son. After a long trial, three of the five judges, including the chief - Payderson - had accused the prosecutor's accusation and appointed Frank for a 5 years in the Eastern Pennsylvanian Prison. It was the first time in the life of Frank, when we finally lost control for a day, because his dream to be rich and prosperous man, the man of a luck was slowly falling down. His thoughts about his wife and children, about Aileen and parents were in the gloom of endless obscurity. Of course, he could materially support them all, but the greatest grief of his soul was the loss of his own time, the whole 5 years without his favorite business .
The Eastern Pennsylvanian Prison wasn't the place for a former successful businessman and wealthy aristocrat .He was forced to change his blue silk suit, which so was good on him and showed the power of his posture and the strength of his winner nature just to the ordinary cotton gray sweatshirt and pants worn with a quilted jacket and dress angled heavy boots - and wear all this for more than five years. He was disgusted by the terrible prison cell and rats and unpeeled waste area, the smell of its waste. There was only one broken chair, a couch without underwear and tight plaid. All the comfort of his former life had disappeared.
After two months of submission to the laws of the prison, diligent work in weaving backs of chairs and Frank's important connections with the necessary people helped him rather much. As a rich person, he could load wardens and guards with presents and to a get great benefit from it - he could have more frequent meetings with with his dearest Aileen, his friend and outside protector Harper, more than that - he was able to work on the stock exchange through a figurehead, while the hype and trash talking around his name will not go out. In a small courtyard near the cell, he created a small garden, started to study the stars ( trying to find the star of his own destiny, which will lite with a bright flame in the heaven ) and his wife also brought him clean clothes and goodies.
After thirteen months of new life in the prison, Frank Algernon Coweperwood was finally released to the wild. His hard fighter character and desire to be a clever prisoner, his ability to send money in the right pocket, and quality to choose the right people to help him, while he was imprisoned played a great role. But in the addition to that, the old Butler had died, because of his immeasurable sadness about Aileen.
The scandal of embezzling $ 500,000 bt Frank had gradually died down, and it was time for a new chapter in the life of a financier. He decided to go to Chicago to start a new business there, but before that there was another fall in the stock exchange in New York, almost repeating events of the "Black Friday". One of the most powerful banks in the U.S. declared bankruptcy and many stocks and rates began to fall in value. Only agility of mind and sobriety of thought helped Frank this week to make a million dollars for raising and lowering the rates of speculation.
His wife gave him a divorce, and full of plans and ideas, Frank moved toward Chicago, with a loving woman, confidence in his power, thunder as the most successful man of Philadelphia for the past few years.

Pleasure Reading ( Theodore Dreiser - The Financier ) p. 268 - 410
A very strange and new feeling came upon Frank's soul - the paternal sense of cruel revenge. Butler was shocked by the thought, that his beautiful daughter Aileen, grown up as a true Catholic woman, who was really the only relief in the world of financial struggle - was bewitched by the unknown spell of thus scoundrel Cowperwood. And his only aim was to use his whole power, with help of financial giants, as Mollenhauer and Simpson - to send him to the jail. After the operation, with depositing credit check received from Stener, Frank was forced to hand over his own interest in the sinking fund in the immediate term. His another loan was 500.000$ dollars was the fault of the Stener's inaccuracy, but Butler's trick was to avoid the whole attack of the society, press and financial world to such huge treasury debt, and decided to play the role of executioner in this story and to punish them both and to save the Republican Party from this disastrous fail. Frank decided to be rapider than then a and try to get another check to improve his current status on the exchange field and pay only a part of the debt to his most principal borrowers (the bank of his father was on the first place). But even the skill, Frank's ingenuity and natural sharp mind didn't help him in this matter. The power trio of tycoons of Philadelphia was too high. During some short meetings with Eileen, he tried to be as joyful and full of energy, trying mentally to pass the storm of problems. Meanwhile, Frank's wife, Lillian, finally began to realize that her husband's heart was directed to another woman, but this burning issue had to be transformed into frozen one, she knew the situation of her husband . A few weeks of a mad scramble for the payment of any dividends, though not lead to anything. Stocks fell after the Chicago Fire, the lawsuit was officially filed, no meetings with any of Simpson, or with
Mollenhauer
could help Frank. The charge was tough - embezzlement and misappropriation of funds of the city administration (Frank was forced to hire a lawyer and start to fight for his freedom against the processing power). His case caused a lot of publicity, as well as in Philadelphia and beyond it.

Frank's future business life was in bright colors , transactions at the interest in the affairs of the promotional investment of Philadelphia light transport lines ( trolley and tram ), loans from the state treasury ,that should be deposited with the future of payments and good benefits -all these business elements made Frank Frank Cowperwood one of the best brokers, businessman, players for a fall and stock speculators, developing transport systems of Philadelphia. He also understood, that his new growing social status and requests should be deservedly rewarded and decided to decor his house in a new way. Internally, he was a bit startled, shocked of his own thought that recently, "the Art" became his special own pleasant shelter for his rare free hours of personal life, of course, except his children, he wanted to surround himself with different items of art exquisite vases of Florentine masters, decorative columns, imitating Greek pillars halls - his soul was involved in this run for the material beauty of the world, his house began to look some like incredibly elegant, but at the same time a powerful - of course, as its owner.
The seed of love to young Aileen Butler was still getting more and more shoots, and they finally had a long conversation during annual evening reception devoted to all major financial bosses of the city and their families. Frank and Aileen opened their hearts to each other and vowed to more than just a sympathy, in relation to each other, but decided to keep their words in secret ( because the truth about their relationship could bring a great deal of evil noise in the circles of Philadelphia that would hurt Frank's business progression and Eileen's family stable positive reputation. They organized a play, which was consisted of some strict rules - not to show their relationship in public, and to escape, to avoid frequent meetings outside Aileen's home, try to retire away from the word of mouth. And in addition to this plan, Frank decided to buy two room apartment in another part of the town, furnish it as a real housing of a wealthy stockbroker and use it as a "base" for their rare meetings and hours of giving hearts and minds to each other.
Some news about some fire in Chicago made Frank Cowperwood think very persistently and carefully about future consequence in the world of US economy , and of course, about its influence on his business plans ( The Great Chicago Fire was a conflagration that burned from Sunday, October 8, to early Tuesday, October 10, 1871, killing hundreds and destroying about 3.3 square miles (9 km2) in Chicago, Illinois, but such information was delicious enough for that time to transmit rapidly) . After weighing all the possible effects of the fire, Frank horrified his position. Shares of all companies in which he was personally invested amount by a percentage borrowed by a loan from various banks (including his father), but more he was afraid of his inability to repay the loans and the payment rates of these loans of such lenders as Treasury of Philadelphia. All these redounds had a mission to stock market crash, prompting him to be bankrupt and exposed. Although he attempted to browbeat his way out of being sentenced to jail by intimidating Mr Stener, politicians from the Republican Party use their influence to use him as a scapegoat for their own corrupt practices. The only way out for Frank was getting even larger loan to pay off credit to put and sell the shares of transport branches.

Understanding ethical journalism.
The article discusses the problems of understanding ethical journalism. And the author of this article, Shanon Shah, interviews Joshua Wong Ngee Choong, a 42 old ,man,s a producer at ntv7 ,that opposes to self-censorship and political interference in the media. The author focuses our attention on the question of possibility to work from within the system if someone wants to be a good journalist that serves the public’s interest, and the answer of Joshua Wong Ngee Choong logically states, that it’s possible, but adds, that it's very difficult. Actually, journalists are victims of a system of monopolistic media ownership and that there is a general lack of journalistic platforms and job opportunities for journalists. Moreover, the interviewee particularly notices, that people must always ask themselves their purpose as jouranists and that they should minimase harm and act independentely.Answering the question of what would he say to criticisms that journalists who work in the government-controlled media are biased and unreliable by default, he correctly points, that all journalists should always go back to the principles of journalism and in the case of minimising harm. He also adds some informationto the understanding and provement of his statement, saying that journalists must put this moral compass in our hearts and must always be able to practise our conscience, and that is a personal conscience to be accountable, honest, fair and responsible. Moving on the theme of public expectations from journalists, whether in the government-controlled, party-controlled or independent media, expresses the view that the public must understand that they will be seriously affected if the traditional media downplay or black out important issues. In conclusion the author asks Mr. Choong a rapid and sharp question, of escribtion the kind of journalists and journalism he’d like to see in Malaysia. Analyzing the situation, Mr. Choong emphasize his opinion and says, that having a moral compass is important. He also adds, that jouranlists as professionals, are not the same as doctors or lawyers, for example. They become professionals after they are assessed on whether they have acquired the appropriate expertise or skills in their fields.
In conclusion, I'd like to say, that nowadays it's extremely important for every jouranist to know the basic elements of ethical journalism, because the journalist is the man, who expected to be as accurate as possible - and this profession gives him not only the opportunity to to transmit information to be the Herald of the truth, but also responsibility for compliance with all the rules.

Pleasure Reading ( Theodore Dreiser - The Financier ) 65 - 130
Frank's inner world was full of great and positive emotions, he fell in love with Lilian, his deal with the shares of railroad tracks was focused on success. But it was very difficult for him to gain a favor of Lilian's heart. She was afraid of different people and their thoughts about her new passion, and besides she was older, thatn Fraknk and just trying to be coldly and closed, but resist the heat of the new love and sharp mind of Cowperwood Jr. was impossible for he and so finally her external armor was cracked and they decide to get marry in three monthes.
Their family had to share some space for some new incomers - Lilian was pregnant, and gave to happy Frank two children - boy and girl. The improvement in accounting of bills gave Frank a lot of new ways to сapital investment and his annual rate raised ( besides his wife was the owner of a decent material possessions, inherited from her husband ) and they finally could built their own house ( with the purchase of the some area near the future home of his father, whose banking was also at the high level.
After some years, Frank gained an important reputation of an excellent broker, merchant, stockbroker, the pawnbroker, a budding investor, but there was the time of a War between South and North. So, the money had been devalued, large sums just went for the army support ( equipment ,active hostilities ) and Frank had to start his new deal in his favorite stock exchange business with such Titan, as Mr. Butler. Frank's aim was to to play the role of stock exchange deadler and bank manager, to deposit a large sum of $ 5 million and a profit in percent of the rate.
By the way, the time passed and his wife after two childbirths had lost her grace and elusive feminine charm and light. His thoughts were directed to Mr. Butler's daughter, who was so beautiful and young.

Lions for Lambs (2007). Short film review.
Drama | Thriller | War - 8 November 2007 (Russia)
Director: Robert Redford
Writer: Matthew Michael Carnahan
Stars: Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford
Director Robert Redford and writer Matthew Michael Carnahan tell us about the War on Terror in three parts: a meeting between a college professor (Redford) and his star pupil (Andrew Garfield); a Time Magazine reporter (Meryl Streep) interviewing a gung-ho GOP senator (Tom Cruise); and two soldiers (Michael Peña, Derek Luke) trapped behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. So, the separation of settings is quite clear - the classroom, the battlefield, and the oval office. The story lines are tenuously strung together; the connection is thematic, but not so dramatic, as I wished. The film tries to make a statement — or perhaps a series of statements — about war, the current political climate and the world in general.
Lions for Lambs provides a more debate about the wars we’re in ( The World ) and may soon be in.
Because the edge of a border peace between different countries around the world has pretty clear boundaries and limits - and you shouldn't have a purpose to disturb them. The trio of all-star actors is real good, and so we can see a great number of different negatives reviews, but I should say, that there is no bad actors play ( especially for such people), there is a chance in an uncertain transfer of unconfirmed information. It's always very difficult to go in front of the main view, you can always find a flurry of criticism.
Lions for Lambs is a good movie made by smart people ( I'm very confident in this thought) who probably believe their film can honestly make a difference or start a dialogue, but the truth is - this film is an unsuccessful product with the expiry date of 3 or maybe 4 years. So, I can't say, that I like or dislike such film, because it's very inconvenient to hang out in the hole of Time.

Pleasure Reading ( Theodore Dreiser - The Financier ) 1 - 65
The story begins with the description of the Philadelphia city and one of common middle-class families of it - Cowperwoods. A middle-ranking clerk Henry Worthington Cowperwood ,and his wife had three beautiful children, but the most budding was Frank. From the early childhood he was especially attentive to his father's business and insightful enough. He became interested in banking and economic sphere when he was only 10 and he was involved in the entrepreneurial crafts when he was only 13. He was a real leader , brave and terse, beautifully built, confident and purposeful young man.
One day, his ankle from Cuba, Seneca Davis arrived to meet their family, and it was a planter, slave owner and quite financially established man, that was extremely confident, that young Frank would be able to be a great financier one day and gave boy a gold coin of 10 dollars. And of course, Frank, as a farsighted person decided to put the money into circulation. His first business was buying party of castalvanian soap at auction and reselling it to the nearest regular store at a higher price and with some nice benefit. After successful deal, he told his father about first economic steps in the adult world and Mr. Cowperwood was pleased.
The time passed, Frank was at the age of 17, working in the office for processing transactions in grain business for Mr Waterman and his sons-companions. The experience of a real job was practically important for young Frank and he had a chance to improve his skills and gain knowledge , to communicate with many different new people - brokers, dealers, bank clerks, small business owners, lenders. He did his work so perfect, that the rumors about a dignified son of a respected father began to circulate in the middle-range society of Philadelphia.
After the death of his ankle Seneca, the part of his business and material possessions came to Frank, and he finally decided to change his future job-direction and perspectives and at the age of 19 not without a light sorrow , had to leave his office. His dream was to become a broker, to plunge into the world of betting and checks, the rapid decline of shares, changes in the growth of quotations to be always in perpetual motion, and to stay afloat and so he came to Mr' Tai's office.
And in that time he fell in love with a young lady , a wife of Mr. Sample - an owner of a shoe store. He couldn't his feeling, because he used to trust his self-consciousness, to think carefully and frisky, but his heart was against his mind.

Rendering Topic "Finals MVP LeBron James finally an NBA champion"
The article discussions the NBA basketball team Miami Heat Leader Lebron James first Championship win. In the article author gives us a image of LeBron James as a wunderkind unable to propel his team to greatness was no longer an unfair assessment. The Heat are NBA champions, primarily because of the heroics of James, who scored 45 points in Game 6 against the Celtics, and then catapulted his team to an impressive title run that culminated with a 121-106 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the Finals. It is necessary to note, that all made it easier for James, the most heavily scrutinized player in the league since his departure from Cleveland, when he announced he was 'taking his talents to South Beach' on a TV special called 'The Decision' that was criticized everywhere from talk shows and water coolers straight to the commissioner's office. The author gives us a real statistics and tell us, that James averaged 28.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 7.4 assists in the Finals. The one of the problem is, that James had — indeed, probably still has — more critics and haters than anyone. To be fair, he invited some of the vitriol, joining the Miami Heat by famously spurning his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers in a nationally televised public relations fiasco in July of 2010. He soon followed that up with a pseudo-guarantee of bringing eight championships to Miami. The author admits , that LeBron James finally has taken his talents where they belong, to the top of the championship mountain – to the peak of basketball's Mount Rushmore. What a climb it was, and what a view it must be.

My Vision of Kate Chopin's "The Unexpected".
I've read this story and it was really interesting. Like I said, it's very difficult to have and use such writing power - to be specially limited in working space and to show us the whole life of this couple - Dorothy and Randell. And moreover, it's difficult to judge their actions, because both of them were right in some things. The Man just wanted to make a real rich living for his "wife" and be calm 'cause of her stability. The Woman just wanted to be with her beloved, with the man of Blossom and Eternal Energy. but not with this transformed gray object. And I should say, that of course the theme of raising of women in the modern society if the lead one, but she did a critical mistake - she was as a color pony in the world of her happy dreams, and couldn't see another world. World of everyday tragedies, problems. And she really could see this side of their relationships and to prevent some bad things.
